As a qualified adult learning tutor, my bespoke workshops aim to bring out the best in everyone, whatever your experience. Even if you have never painted before, you can enjoy creating art. Please sign up to my newsletter to keep updated.
I offer larger groups if you would prefer to be more social whilst you're learning, but my workshops at Dunnock Studio are always be available for those that prefer the quiet concentration of painting (a max of two learners at a time).
Workshops at larger venues:
These larger adult workshops are suitable for beginners and improvers. Jackie is a qualified adult learning tutor.
Watercolours for fun 10 - 1, £40. Garvestone Village Hall NR94AD. These art workshops run on occasional Saturday mornings. The next workshop will be advertised here in spring 2026. All materials and refreshments provided. Suitable for complete beginners and improvers.
Relaxed Sunday Art, 10.30 - 1, £15. Garvestone Village Hall NR94AD. A fun, relaxed art group with a short tutorial followed by tutor support whilst you work on your own projects. Please bring all your own equipment. Light refreshments provided. This is suitable for those with a little experience and all your own materials. The themes and dates are:

Workshops at Dunnock studio
There are a maximum of two learners per Dunnock Studio workshop, so you can be sure of lots of tuition and support with the benefit of a fellow learner to share experiences with. All materials and refreshments are provided.
Introduction to techniques - I recommend you take two of these art classes to cover the major techniques for painting in your chosen media. Suitable for complete beginners or as a refresher.
